Microsoft Windows 7 still due dates for 22nd October, there is another report from Ars Technia regarding Windows 8 which will come with 128-bit support.
The information was revealed on the LinkedIn profile of Robert Morgan who is a senior research and development engineer at Microsoft, the information has been removed from his profile.
Microsoft is working on 128-bit architecture compatibility with the Windows 8 and Windows 9 kernels. Consequently, the company is also forming relationships with major partners, including Intel, AMD, HP, and IBM.

Robert Morgan is working to get IA-128 working backwards with full binary compatibility on the existing IA-64 instructions in the hardware simulation to work for Windows 8 and definitely Windows 9.
